Real Kabob Meal Preps is a weekly prepared-meal system for people who want fewer food decisions and something genuinely good waiting in the fridge. Choose a bundle that fits your week, set the protein and portion for each meal, then add sides and sauces to make it your own.

Good meals. One simple plan. Real Kabob quality, portioned for the week ahead.

A weekly plan you can count on

This is not a meal kit, and it is not a smaller restaurant menu. It is a focused plan built around two dishes that travel, refrigerate, and reheat well: flame-grilled chicken kabobs and petite tenderloin steak kabobs.

The idea is simple. Pick the meals you want once, then open the fridge during the week knowing lunch is already there. The main dishes stay consistent, while protein portions, sides, and sauces give you enough flexibility to keep things enjoyable.

Each meal is cooked and packed in its own container. There is no chopping, measuring, or cooking at home. Keep the meals refrigerated, heat one when you are ready, and get on with the rest of your day.

What comes in a meal prep bundle?

Every bundle is built from individual meal containers. Each one includes your choice of chicken kabobs or petite tenderloin steak kabobs, white basmati rice, and flame-grilled vegetables. The current guided Best First Order begins with five meals and three separate sides, making it the easiest way to learn the system before deciding how many meals fit your routine.

  • Chicken kabobsMarinated with lemon, onion, and saffron, then flame-grilled for juicy centers and a little char.
  • Steak kabobsCut from petite tenderloin for a rich, meaty bite with the grill flavor people expect from Real Kabob.
  • White basmati riceLong-grain rice with the light, fluffy texture that belongs next to kabob.
  • Grilled vegetablesOnions, zucchini, and sweet peppers cooked over the flame.

Why focus on two main dishes?

Weekly food works best when it is easy to understand and easy to repeat. We chose two dishes that feel substantial, pair naturally with rice and grilled vegetables, and hold up through a real week.

Chicken kabobs are bright, juicy, and familiar. Our steak kabobs use petite tenderloin for a deeper steak flavor. In a customizable bundle, you can choose all chicken, all steak, or mix the two. That gives you consistency without making every meal feel exactly the same.

Focusing the meal prep menu also lets our kitchen pay attention to the details that matter: a proper marinade, real flame on the meat and vegetables, fluffy rice, accurate portions, and containers packed to reheat well.

Choose 6 or 8 ounces

Every person and every day is different, so you choose the protein portion for each meal. The 6 ounce option is the standard portion. The 8 ounce option adds more chicken kabobs or steak kabobs for people who want a more protein-focused plate.

A simple way to decide

Choose 6 ounces when you want a balanced everyday lunch with rice and vegetables. Choose 8 ounces when your appetite runs bigger, your training day calls for more protein, or you prefer the meat to take up more of the plate. You can mix portion sizes across the same week.

Use sides and sauces to change the week

The main meals provide a dependable base. Sides and sauces are where you can change the flavor and the rhythm from day to day.

Our suggested first three sides are Shirazi salad, yogurt cucumber, and roasted garlic hummus. Add a cool spoonful of yogurt cucumber next to a warm chicken meal. Bring brightness and crunch with Shirazi salad. Use roasted garlic hummus for a richer, savory addition. Sauces can be added when you want more tang, creaminess, or heat.

Because sides arrive separately, you decide which meal gets what. The same bundle can feel a little different from one day to the next without asking you to plan a completely different lunch every time.

Made for real San Jose weeks

These meals are prepared by the Real Kabob crew on Almaden Expressway, in the same San Jose kitchen our neighborhood has known for nearly 20 years. The meal prep format simply makes that flame-grilled food easier to keep ready for the days ahead.

Think office days downtown, classes around San Jose State, school and sports schedules across Almaden, Willow Glen, Cambrian, Evergreen, and Berryessa, or the stretch between a South Bay workout and the next thing on the calendar. It works for the lunch you bring to North San Jose, the meal waiting after a session near Santana Row, and the quick reset between school pickup and an evening at the field.

San Jose days have a way of covering ground. You might start near the foothills, cross town on 85 or 280, spend the afternoon near Diridon or San Pedro Square, and still have more ahead. A meal can stay ready in the fridge until the day gives you a minute to enjoy it.

It also travels well for Bay Area days that start here: a drive over Highway 17 to Santa Cruz, a packed cooler for Vasona or a neighborhood park, or a weekend headed north. Keep the meals properly chilled, then refrigerate or reheat them when you arrive.

Who is this plan for?

Busy workdays

Keep a meal ready for the office, a work-from-home day, or the space between meetings. The goal is not to turn lunch into another project. It is to make one good decision ahead of time.

School-day families

Parents can work a familiar, filling meal into the weekly routine for older kids and teenagers. Choose the portion and protein mix that fits your family, keep meals properly refrigerated, and have one ready for lunch or after school.

Fitness-focused weeks

When portion consistency matters, you can see exactly whether each meal has 6 or 8 ounces of chicken kabobs or steak kabobs. Rice and grilled vegetables are already part of the plate, so the meal is easy to understand before you heat it.

Bay Area weekends

A stocked cooler can help on the drive to Santa Cruz, a day around the South Bay, or a weekend up in Tahoe. Keep meals cold, refrigerate them when you arrive, and reheat safely when you are ready.
